Francisco Freccero started his jewelry business in Uruguay in 1868, and 143 years later the store is still in business. This Patek Philippe reference 96 from 1938, with its “FRECCERO” signed dial, is not only a charming vintage wristwatch, but also a commemoration of Senor Freccero’s 70th Anniversary in the jewelry business.
Original case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 30.5mm diameter by 10mm thick. Crystal is domed acrylic. The case finish alternates between polished and brushed surfaces. Original oversized Patek winding crown.
Original black dial features applied golden hour markers with double marker at 12 o’clock, subsidiary seconds dial with its own chapter, and gorgeous original golden dauphine hands. “FRECCERO” is signed on the dial above the seconds dial.
Original movement is the manual winding Caliber 12’’’ 120 with 18 jewels. Movement is clean and running.
Strap is Patek black crocodile with gold pated Patek tang buckle.
